MORE ABOUT ENERGY CAMP
Learn about the impacts of fossil fuel usage renewable energy options, and get fun hands-on experience relating to climate change.

Energy Camp is a summer program designed to teach youth, rising into grades 3-6, the impact of fossil fuel usage, the options of renewable energy, and the fundamental skills that will be required as we downsize our energy use and environmental impact. There are two separate Summer Energy Camp sessions available.
Participants will engage in hands-on experiential activities relating to Renewable Energy Solutions, Depletion of Fossil Fuels, and Climate Change, such as:
- How to make a Solar Oven
- Creating your own Solar Charger
- Fixing Bikes
- Growing your own Food
This year, both camps will be held at 1834 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee, FL (held at but not sponsored by the United Church in Tallahassee). Camps start at 9:00 am, with the drop-off beginning at 7:30 am. Camps finish at 4:30 pm each camp day, with pick-up ending at 5:30 pm.
Costs: $155 | Partial and Full Scholarships Available
